Gen 1:1 ”In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”
The footnote on “created” tells that the Hebrew root means “shaped, fashioned, created; always divine activity”. I don’t think that it is any stretch to realize that women have been chosen as the means of physical creation of God’s most precious possession – his children. Although this scripture has much more to do with creating the earth, it will always remind me just how precious Katie must be in order to be trusted with such a divine process.
